Question:

Is it OK to post piece of my personal art collection on DA?

I am not an artist. But I like art, well the art I like. I wouldn't mind sharing it here, not that any one is reading this.

What I am going to is to share my collection, making attribution where I can. If it is a problem I will take it down.

If anyone thinks this is a problem, let me know.

I am not an artist by any means, but I like art. I am in awe of talented people. Searching DeviantArt has been great. But there are still some things out there I would love to see. I also am a collector like many members. One of those things I collect is Non-Sports cards, primarily vintage cards. Recently there was release of new book covering the 1976 Topps Star Trek Cards. Nice book, and I do recommend it for any collector out there. Some facts about the cards are interesting.

1. It only covers 40 episodes (41 if you count "The Menagerie" as two episodes. You can add 6 more if count photos from the non episode cards)

2. There is no Sulu! (I guess in this case it wasn't OK to be Takei.)

3. No guest stars are pictured in any of the cards.

As a kid, I wrote a letter to Topps asking for a Star Trek card. 6 months later, a set appeared. I though it was because of ME! Little did I know how much effort went into producing a set of cards!

So, you may ask, why am posting this?

I am hoping that some of you talented artist out there would create some of your visions of the 1976 Topps Star Cards. I can't really afford to commission the set, so I am begging and pleading for someone to take up the mantle!
